Eligibility for Admission

A candidate seeking admission to MCA course must have

• Candidate should have passed BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT)/ B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree from a recognized University.ORCandidate should have passed any graduation degree(e.g:B.E/B.Tech./B.Sc/B.Com./B.A/B.Voc. etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level from a recognized University.

  OR

  Candidates with such degrees awarded by the Mahatma Gandhi University or any other degree programmes recognized as equivalent to the above listed programmes by the Mahatma Gandhi University are also eligible to apply.

  In such cases candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

  For graduate under grading system, percentage of marks is calculated by the grade to percentage conversion formula provided from the concerned University.

  The Syllabus of the bridge course included in the MCA Regular (2 Years) Scheme, Syllabus, Regulation of Affiliated Colleges 2020 onwards supports students without either Mathematics or Computer

  Bridge Course framed by the University is a compulsory course for those students having no Mathematics or Computer background.
