Social Initiative Thanmudra Phase – 2
Postgraduate Department of Computer Science (MCA) and National Service Scheme partnered with Kerala Social Security Mission [KSSM, Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala] in Thanmudra Phase – 2 Project Implementation, the second phase of campaign to issue UDID (Unique Disability Identity Card) to the differently abled. Thanmudra is a State Governemnt iniative to make Kerala a fully disabled-friendly State.
113 students of MCA volunteered for the UDID registration of above 800 differently abled citizens and succesfuly registered them in Thanmudra portal. KSSM Project Coordinators Mr. Nikhil V. (Muvattupuzha Municipality), Ms. Sunitha Boby (North Paravur Municipality) along with Department Head Ms. Sherry O. Panicker, Staff members Mr. Sherin Mathew G, Ms. Smitha M., Mr. Biju Peter, Mr. Jiji Mathew and Mr. Nibin Jose headed the registration, conducted in the MCA Lab.

Innovature Placement Pool Drive
The Placement cell – MCA organized a Campus recruitment pool drive for Innovature Software Labs, Infopark, Kakkanad on 12 November 2024. 364 candidates from nine colleges had registered for the drive. The drive started at 10.30am with a brief orientation session about the recruitment process led by HR team from Innovature. The technical aptitude test was organized in online mode in two batches.

Cameo 2024
Cameo 2024, the Inter Collegiate IT Fest of MCA, was officially announced by Rev. Dr. Jestin K Kuriakose, Principal, in the presence of our Vice Principals, Staff and Students of Nirmala.
The Fest on 9th October, with 8 Technical Events, hosted more than 550 participants from 35 Colleges. We also had 8 outdoor events, a stall of Unicorn Creations owned by final year student Vandana Venu and an exclusive Food Stall.
Administrator Rev. Fr. Jose Pulloppillil, Bursar and Joint Administrator Rev. Fr. Paul Kalathoor, Head of the Department Ms. Sherry O Panicker, Staff Coordinator Mr. Sherin Mathew G. and Student Coordinator Mr. Mahesh K M, together with the Staff and Students, led the fest.
